While we all hope it will never happen to us, it is surprisingly common to find yourself in a survival situation. Adverse events and unexpected situations occur all the time.  If you have the misfortune to find yourself in an extreme, challenging situation you will dramatically improve your chances of getting through if you have had survival training.

Being prepared is a necessity for anyone going out into the bush. But even with the best levels of preparedness you may find yourself without your gear and relying completely on your wits. Knowing what to do can make the difference between life and death.  Our survival training will teach you things that will not only help you in extreme survival situations, but can be useful in everyday life too.

There are many ways to improve your wilderness survival skills knowledge with reading books or watching videos providing some good theoretical awareness. But the only way to really develop confidence and ability is to get into the wilderness with an experienced instructor who uses a hands-on-practical approach.

Our highly knowledgeable and experienced instructors will teach you to apply the priorities of survival using resources found in the bush. Health and Fitness Requirements

A general level of good health and fitness is required to participate in our courses and activities. The physical nature of our survival training and outdoor workshops involves walking, hiking, and other moderate to strenuous activities. To ensure your safety and the best experience, please inform us in advance of any health conditions or physical limitations that may affect your participation. This includes any medical conditions, mobility issues, or injuries. We want to ensure we can accommodate your needs and provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Additionally, all participants will be required to sign a safety waiver prior to the activity. This waiver acknowledges the risks involved in outdoor activities and confirms that you are physically fit to participate. Please review and sign the waiver before attending your course.
